i can’t send a tiktok to my boyfriend?

we have more than 200 days streak and his chat is fixed but when i try to send him something his account just doesn’t show up?? has anyone had the same issue? i reinstalled the app, turned my phone on and off, i tried everything but its been weeks since this started and i don’t know how to solve it. and yes i scrolled all the way to the end to see if his account would show but its doesn’t!!
