tiktok won’t let me favourite anything

no idea why. it keeps on saying “something went wrong. please try again later.” when i try to favourite something. i have no idea what’s went wrong and it’s really frustrating. i’ve sent a request to tiktok and they’ve practically said that they’ve done it on purpose but i have no idea why, not do i know how to get rid of it. does anybody know why it is doing this and how i can get rid of it?
