How do you get cross-country audience on TikTok?

Hi- I'm trying to reach another country's audience (US) from my home country (Mexico) but having a hard time doing so. Every post I had is primarily MX audience, wondering what are the tips & tricks to get the cross-country audience?

tiktok pushes content based on engagement first, not location. if people in the US start watching longer, it will spread there. try making content that fits US trends and humor. that helped me reach outside my country
