As an app that has impressionable young children or minors this shouldn’t be happening at all, after a while of scrolling on Douyin (Chinese tiktok) videos of sexual images or animals getting slaughtered or abused started showing up and this shit should not be allowed on any app at all

It's funny how you complain about an app that, first of all, isn't for you but for the Chinese public. If they aren't bothered by it, there's nothing to be done. You are a foreigner using their app, so you have no say. Your opinion doesn't matter much to the Chinese people. That is the reality.
