I posted 15 TikTok slideshow videos — almost no views. What am I doing wrong?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been testing slideshow-style content on TikTok and I’m a bit confused with the results.
Over the past few days, I posted around 15 videos. The format is simple:
6–8 slides per post
Big text hooks
Topics around TikTok tips, small life hacks, and simple tools
Fast pacing (each slide ~1 sec)
But most of my videos are stuck at very low views (like <200), and they don’t seem to get picked up at all.
Here’s what I’ve been trying:
Strong hook on the first slide (e.g. “Fix your TikTok feed in 30 seconds”)
Keeping text minimal and readable
Using a consistent style
Posting 2–3 times a day
Content examples I tried:
TikTok tips (improving feed, hidden features)
Relatable posts (“saved videos you never watch”)
Simple hacks
What I’m unsure about:
Is slideshow content still working in 2026?
Is my hook not strong enough?
Could it be low watch time / swipe-through rate?
Or is this just normal for new accounts?
I’m not trying to promote anything here — just genuinely trying to understand what I’m doing wrong and improve.
