I don't think it's the job per say. Maybe it's just the feeling of earnining money and being independent, also living their own lives

Fuck organized religion
We don't value labor in the United States. When Covid shut down the country and people were asked to stay at home. These roles were considered "essential" because large swathes of people are completely unable to feed themselves despite having all the time and energy to do so. Capitalism forces half of the labor force to physical exhaustion with manual labor and the other half with mental exhaustion with sedentary labor.
