The amount of fear mongering is insane.
The World Health Organization has explicitly and forcefully pushed back against pandemic comparisons. Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, the WHO's director for epidemic and pandemic preparedness, stated unequivocally this week: "This is not the start of an epidemic. This is not the start of a pandemic. This is not Covid."
Both the WHO and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control have assessed the risk to the broader global population as extremely low, with experts calling the wider threat "really negligible." Get a grip.
If I'm immune I'm building a bone temple
Guess its time to stock up on toilet paper and watch Outbreak for the 600th time.
Tell me you know nothing about how diseases spread without saying it.
What an ignorant reaction.
I mean...can you really have a pandemic when the virus is already well known, predictable, and does not spread easily or quickly?
We can spread a bunch of fear online but reading anything scientific about the likelihood of it spreading is not happening. This virus has been in the U.S for years. Itβs not spread from human to human contact for the most part. If you live in a rural area around mouse droppings such as a shed on a farm you should be more worried than this ship letting off its passengers.
