Algorithm changes

Did TikTok do something to the algorithm recently? My fyp has been wayyy more local lately. Like I’m getting videos about my city, places down the street from me.. it’s almost my whole fyp.

I’m a little creeped out because I was just sitting in traffic watching TikTok (someone else was driving), and I got a video that said “only in (my city) will it take 20 minutes to get down one street” and it was the street I was sitting on 😭
