Go somewhere, have your eyes opened to something new and interesting, only to (compulsively and idiotically at this point) go on TikTok and have a bunch of people that all sound the same ('hey lil broooo....') tell you why it was bad. It's extremely dispiriting, and I think I'll leave.

I watch a lot of travel videos on tiktok, and I don't see that. I have the opposite problem of too much influencer content that tends to hype up every place, and also what I'm pretty sure are a lot of paid promotions.

Tiktok tends to show you what it thinks you want to see. Use hearts and dislike to give it feedback.
