All I can think is he probably built this so someone with a disability could stay in their own home...

The safety double door is because of people who don't pay attention to their surroundings. I feel like this was perfectly safe to the guy who built it

No safety components? The safety component is stay out my damn house

Safety is necessary because you don't know who's gonna use it. However, the home owner(s) generally know who's using it and who's using it knows how to not pull a final destination 2

Freedom comes in many flavors in this economy 

As an electrical engineer and contractor; I’d be very concerned about the safety. Having someone loose a hand, or even worse, specially kids. 🤷‍♂️
Probably homeowners insurance wouldn’t pay for any accidents either

Part of me loves this, part of me absolutely cringes!
