Yeah the entire reason youtube knows about [insert alternative here] was bcuz dumbasses replied to their official twitter posts about it. Something like: Price hike in premium? Good thing i got [example]. etc etc.

i'm not usually up for gatekeeping but sometimes we need to gatekeep so that we can prevent idiots from doing that.

This totally misunderstands modern digital piracy.
