Is anybody getting a bunch of view within a couple minutes then it drops off a cliff? I had an 800 view in like 10 minutes but only 6 likes. Which is odd. I’ve gotten more from 300 hundred view. I feel like my post are not even showing up to people who will watch them.
Are you posting the video anywhere else first? Tiktok is very anti competitive by supressing creator's products (videos) if they exist on other platforms.
As for the "right people", you have to know who you're directing content to and use very specific keywords, hashtags. Never use broad tags like fyp etc. Fyp might bring in tons of initial views but it's largely people who won't like your content and ultimate harm your reach.

no mine’s the opposite. My views grow so slow at first and then shoot up later on
I barely get any views maybe 5 than later a 100 n I lost 1000 followers
