Real. I’m looking at my PhD so I can keep up the dance and leave the US
I’m looking at going back to school for this reason.
Worked with a guy who was in the Air Force and he said all he did was just repeatedly go to school to learn new languages. He'd come out, do a short stint and then go right back in to enroll in a program to learn a new language that was extremely close to the one he previously learned so he didn't have to worry about struggling.
Too real :') I'm sure the job market can't . it can't get any worse! ha! hahehehahaaaa.h.heh 🫠
What ‘til you get the job …
I applied to MBA programs when the job market slowed in 2023 which results in the highest volume of applicants in like 10 years and now I’m graduating with it into a market that couldn’t give a shit.
Ah, grad school. Hitting the snooze button on real life.
Finished my MBA last year… and unfortunately, this video isn’t even satirical. My partner and I often joke about going for our Doctorates. It often feels like a desperate attempt to be “forever students,” especially if the jobs aren’t there in our respective fields.
She earned her Master’s nearly 5 years ago, so the job prospects were “biting” then — not so much now.
Defer until I die.
