Does someone disappear from your TikTok "Send To" share list if they change their account privacy?

Hey guys, quick technical question about the share sheet algorithm.

For the past two months, a specific user I haven't messaged at all was consistently sitting at the #3 spot on my TikTok "Send To" list when I went to share videos. We don't follow each other, and my account is private.

Today, they suddenly disappeared from my top list entirely and aren't even showing up at the bottom. I checked their profile and saw they just changed their account from public to private.

Why were they on the third place the whole time depsite sending to all my friends.

Does the TikTok algorithm automatically drop someone from your share suggestions the moment they switch their account to private if you aren't actively following them? Thanks!
