Tiktok tends to reward high content volume. Uploading at least 3x a week is ideal.
If you go just a month with no videos they'll slash your views on new videos pretty harsh as a penalty. Months—plural, away could be like resetting your account unless you have an absolute juggernaut of followers to sustain you but most people don't have that.
