2 questions about RedNote's translation features (desktop + saving translated images)!!

I'm learning Chinese using RedNote, and the content translation function is amazing (OCR for images, subtitles, and posts themselves), but I have 2 questions:

  1. How can I get the same translation features on the desktop website? They only seem to work on mobile for me.

  2. When I use "Save Image," it downloads only the original image, not the translated version. Is there a way to save/download the translated image too?

  1. For desktop, i use safari’s built in english translator on my macbook & it works pretty well

The ban isn't really about privacy concerns

Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok... They can't control the narrative their like they do with Facebook or Instagram YouTube. etc The genocide in Gaza was being shown in its full without any kind of censorship...
