I feel like we’ve all been here before 😅 but now that I’m starting to post on TikTok… how do I make sure my friends and family don’t find my account? I already detached my phone number, but I still have my email connected. 👀 I don’t know there users and they are never suggested.
turn off the contact syncing feature in privacy settings thats probably why they might find you. also maybe use different email that friends dont know about? i had same problem when started posting and changing email helped a lot. the algorithm is weird with suggesting people sometimes even without phone number attached
