I want to work with them on a possible sponsorship but I'm unsure if this is just social blade being inaccurate or they're buying likes?

Socialblade abbreviates anything over 10K. just like youtube. look at the comments and their profiles

Your best bet would be to actually look at their account, check the views vs the comments on the videos and if the comments are actually real or just stickers from bots
