CEO wants AI to have private data.

Listen, I am Pro-AI when it is used well or peacefully. I’m upset my countries administration took away AI regulations earlier last year because it makes teaching it unsafe.

But this… and don’t get me wrong, I think a lot of people here would only care about it having access to private data… but my issue with that is… some people are gruesome, brutal, and disgusting.

I just don’t think it should learn from most people. I don’t want AI to learn from hate, bullying, harassment, etc… which can already be found in public.

Can anyone think of any good reasons why it might be a good thing? What do you guys think?

I debated whether I should mark this cringe or discussion… just marking it as cringe.

Please, don’t fight with each other. Constructive criticism if you don’t mind. Let’s not bully or harass.

So we should give up our private information so that AI can achieve "peak value" for some billionaire?

If they are going to fully go through with this. AND use these models to increase their influence and power over the population. It'd be a crime against humanity that most people are simply too dumb to understand.

So Larry believes your private data needs to be in a database so AI's can train on it? I wonder how much of his data would be involved? Or any other oligarch for that matter? What could possibly go wrong? I mean its the old lets do evil because progress and monies, never mind ethics.

I’d be fired if I spoke like that.

If you are operating a system that isnt under your direct control then you are by default relinquishing any and all data to whoever owns that system.
