How is the send to list so obnoxiously long????

I ALWAYS embarrass myself my accidentally hitting the share button and sending videos for people I don’t intend to. Before, there was only the first row of contacts that popped up. Now there’s so many more rows and opportunities for mistakes? I hate how easy it is to push a few buttons and share things, now the list has expanded to include people I REALLY don’t talk to or know. Any way to turn this feature off or at least reduce the # of contacts videos can be shared to??
