Has anyone recovered from a Xiaohongshu shadowban after passport verification and multiple unanswered appeals?

For about a month now, my account has been acting normally on my side, but nobody receives my messages and my posts, my comments don't appear to other users. The strange thing is that I never received any warning or ban notification from Xiaohongshu. I only found out because my friends told me they couldn't see my posts, messages or comments anymore. Then I completed passport verification (it showed ID verified successfully) and submitted multiple appeals through the Help Center.

The only response I ever received was a message (screenshot attached). However, I couldn't reply directly to that message, the only option was to submit another report through the Help Center. Since then, I haven't received any further response or update at all.

Has anyone gone through sth similar? Did your account eventually recover, and if so, how long did it take?

Should I keep waiting or is it better to give up and create a new account? If I create a new account, can I even verify it again if my passport is already linked to the current one?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Try the in app support! Ask to talk to a human being. They fixed it pretty quick for me, but it took me over an hour in the queue.

I will say it seems I am unable to DM still though.

I just DM'd somewhere here that works at RedNote, and they reactivated my account after a day.

I tried and tried and finally opened a new account with new number. Then messaged from the new account to unfreeze the old account. No response. Thankfully my old account was public and i can see most of the things I saved and followed. Make peace with it.

I followed this advice from another post and I got contacted today that my issue has „priority“ now. They told me to describe my problem again. Now I’m waiting. I have hope

Mine has also been shadowbanned! Everytime I’d post I’d get at least 100 views but now I get 0. I even had a post go viral before this idk what to do either

Hello everyone! I had the exact same problem: Posts not visible to others, no dm's or comments going through to other people, etc.

When I contacted customer service they guided me to messages -> system messages -> a notice called "feature adjustment". Please try to click this notice and see if you have a button called "remove restrictions". That should prompt a bot check, and then everything should be fine!

It worked for me (for now) anyhow. My posts are visible again and I can comment + chat.

If it doesn't work then please try to contact customer service through help center, and if you get the bot then just ask to see an agent because the matter is very specific (I just said "I need to see an agent, you can't handle this matter"). That should place you in a queue. Even if the queue says 0, you may have to wait for an hour or two. The customer support is open from 9pm to noon Eastern Time I believe.

Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok... They can't control the narrative their like they do with Facebook or Instagram YouTube. etc The genocide in Gaza was being shown in its full without any kind of censorship...
