Friend not visible on forward section in videos, even when manually searching for name

When I try to forward a video through dms to one of my friends on Tiktok, the friend is not there. Even when I try to search for them manually by typing their name, no account shows up.
I have exchanged quite a bit of DMs with them (as this is the case with two of my friends).
Its specifically on my iPhone, because on browser I can see the friends when trying to forward a video. I cleared cache, reinstalled the app too.

Does anyone else have this problem?
