Tiktok is full of AI impersonating real people

And no one is talking about it or seems to care?

It is unendingly weird. Why is this happening, and why are we letting it?

The evidence is everywhere. Just pull up anyone's profile. Firstly, they look and act like AI, unless everyone has the same maniacal, performative energy (they don't).

Secondly, they have hundreds upon hundreds of videos, most of them weird, pointless and repetitive,, yet have a shit ton of likes and comments.

Thirdly, on the repetitive note, they're actions and wording are being mimicked hundreds of times over, even the movements. Some feature the exact same movements and look that other "people" have made, even multiple videos in a row.

This is bringing a level of unreality to reality. Tiktok is already harmful enough thanks to misinformation. With so many acting so strangely, and making a platform so alienating, it is something that will begin the make the world feel even more insane, as we crumble under the weight of this psychologically intrusive and aberrant influence. And that's not including all of the hundreds and hundreds of videos of people talking about spirits and chosen ones and all this other crazy-making crap.

Why. And what is going to come of it. And why when I make these posts does no one ever want to talk about it, or admit it.

This world is becoming complicated and scary enough. The last thing we need is people checking out and normalizing it. You can. You can see how damaging it has already been and we need to be present and remember that we're in this together, so as not to become absent-minded and even more distant from each other.
