Do you guys see a typing indicator in group chats on tiktok?

My friend said that they can see when someone is typing in a group chat on TikTok but i’ve never been able to see that. I can see when someone is typing in dms like one on one chat with someone but not in a group chat. I should mention that they are on android and i’m on IPhone and my tiktok is up to date. Can anyone else see the typing indicator too?
