Is tiktok's algorithm just like this or am I getting unlucky?
I'm a gaming creator on tiktok and I've been posting my shorts everywhere for the past two months. They were consistently getting 100+ views for 8/9 of my tiktoks prior, but now the past six i've posted have gotten 10 or less. I've only been posting Monday and Friday for those, it's not like it's excessive, and they're all different games too. Plus, I've put mario content on there before that got attention, and even the mario games aren't doing well. Mario Wonder, Mario 64 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so it's not like they're the most popular games ever and my content would be buried by everyone else's. The other ones were GTA 5, Spider-Man PS4, and 60 Seconds, which all did pretty well on all of my other platforms. Same hashtags, same energy, not too long, not too short, I feel like it's a tiktok algo problem. I also posted my most popular video that got nearly 700 views not too long before the dip in impressions, and it was on the escapists, a game that nobody plays anymore. I just can't tell why this just randomly happened because on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, they're all garnering the same numbers as my other videos, just not tiktok. Can someone give me some sort of explanation?
