Was it B? Can’t tell if I’m an idiot without the answer lol
It’s B and also the hosts shirts change shades and color each time he reappears, I did not catch that the first time. I remember being shown the gorilla video in college by a neuroscientist professor and god damn did I not see the gorilla because I wanted to get the pass count right. I remember being convinced our professor tricked us and played two different videos , it’s wild.
His post would only make sense if he didn’t cut away from himself constantly. Not many people, if any, would notice his shirt changing when he does that. If he kept the video of himself there the entire time I would guess over 25% of people would notice it then.
The host also got a haircut by the end of the video.
Im surprised i got it right because I have a really bad memory and im bad with faces. If I was attacked, the chances of me identifying the person months later are slim to none. But as ive just found, give me 1 and a half minutes and ill be fine. I just wont notice you changing your shirt in front of me.
I get the point being made here but when specifically told ahead of time “hey this is really important remember this” even my ADHD brain locked that shit in a vault. It’s when you’re not expecting it, or expecting something else because you were explicitly told to expect something when memory becomes faulty like this. Case in point, his shirt color change.
It's B. And yes this guy's shirt changed colours as well. Blue and grey. Also, i'm a certified super recogniser. That means i don't forget a face and can recognise it even after years of aging or say in an old photo (i primarily work doing this. Helping families recognise their loved ones from old WWI, WWII military lineup photos).
The phenomenon of people not able to recognise faces anymore or able to distinguish b/w different facial features is called face blindness and it's one of the most common conditions in people. So apart from the brain forgetting details, it also forgets people's faces and when suddenly they see 2 people of similar look and build, they can't tell them apart.
Researching about that is what led researchers at Greenwich University to do studies on people who have the opposite condition. Meaning in our case, super recognisers won't forget what someone looked like (unless they had extreme plastic surgery), we can still pick them up. We can also pick up faces from blurry photos, heavily noisy photos, etc (we have to give tests where this actually happens and we have to correctly identify). im told SRs volunteer in UK police to help identify perps from cctv footage. But since i don't live in uk and my country does jack shit with SR, i don't get much opportunities than those old photo stuff.
I absolutely noticed.
Hmm, maybe I actually am better than average with faces afterall.
