Really wanting to leave Meta behind but I run a lot of support communities, what is a comparable, user-friendly, and free alternative to private Facebook Groups?

I run a few Facebook support groups, and about 7 months ago, Meta banned my 15 year old facebook page. This was done by a bogus AI flag with no way to appeal. Since then, I have been looking for alternatives because I lost almost a decade of content I had created for my support groups. I don't mind Reddit, but it doesn't really function quite like Facebook groups. I am also looking into possibly utilizing WIX spaces, but it is not the best, and I worry about migrating everyone over to something that could disappear if I change my website hosting. Is there anything out there that functions similarly to private Facebook groups that I don't have to pay for?

If free is a hard requirement, I do not think there is a true Facebook Groups replacement with the same familiarity, moderation, and reach all in one place.

The safer move is to separate community home from discovery. Move the actual support community somewhere you can control or export, then use Meta only as a feeder while people migrate. Discord can work if your members can handle chat style structure. Reddit is weaker for private support. LinkedIn Groups usually feels too dead for this kind of use.

I would test the move with one smaller group first, document the friction, and only then decide where the larger communities belong. The big risk is not picking the wrong tool. It is moving everyone at once and finding out your least technical members hate the workflow.

The hardest part isn't finding a replacement platform, it's getting people to move. I've seen Discord, Circle, and even private Reddit communities work well, but migration tends to be the real challenge.

Whatever you choose, I'd prioritize exportability and ownership of your member list after what happened with Facebook.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
