When we first met Momo, she was covered in motor oil, matted fur, beat up from the streets. She wouldn’t let us near her. I started leaving food out on the curb for her. She started leaving mice and birds next to the empty dishes. Within two-three months, she would let me pet her, but only the top of her head. It took her about six months to let me touch her back. We noticed she was grooming herself much more efficiently. Eventually she just started staying near our house. She would literally patrol the property line. After about seven months, she jumped up onto my lap and took a two hour nap. I could literally feel the stress leave her body. From that nap forward, she would let me touch her wherever I wanted. She started sleeping with me, but I always had to leave the window open. It turned out Momo had a little posse of street cats, and she was going out to bring them to our house to eat and relax in peace. There were four in total, and they are individually the sweetest cats I’ve ever had, but as a group, it was a peak experience to see them essentially restart their lives in comfort without having to worry about who knows what the fuck they were worrying about on the streets.
While watching this my cat threw up because he ate his infinite supply of prescription cat food too fast and upset his tummy.
Inside cats live something like 5 or 6 times longer than outdoor cats.
😆 🤣
Outside Dog = bad. Outside human = bad Outside child = bad Outside baby = bad
Outside Cat = worst.
Stop being shitty pet parents. Stop being shitty neighbours.
Doctos used to smoke in hospitals, we can do dumb things and than do better and change.
There is zero benefit for pets to roam alone outside.
You cna go out with your cat if its so important
😂 The outdoor cat who shows up at my screened in porch to argue with my indoor cat is so muscular it’s insane
I love the way he throws the coyote

My street cat is the biggest sissy of my 3 cats 😂 He was getting his shit wrecked by other cats where my husband works, so he trapped him and brought him home and we fixed him up, but hes the inside cat in this scenario lol.
