Trying to change my phone

I'm trying to change my phone number for my account, but I gett getting this message "Something went wrong. Please try again" over and over. Same when I tried changing my email (just to check). I want to del my account, but it sends me a verification code to my old number.

I think it's cause it's used to the old one and thought the new one is a fake
