Friends tab is ad filled mess

I submitted a support request to TikTok and they literally still haven’t done anything or made any suggestions.

When I go to the friend’s tab when the notification counter shows up like 18 in the red circle.

But I’ll only get to watch one friend’s video before it’s a non-stop scroll of Ads.

Even watching through to completion, the ads don’t stop. If I try and scroll past the ads, it’ll get to the end and say that my friends haven’t posted anything. That is incorrect though because I can go to their pages and see that they’ve posted content, and also, why would the notification counter show anything if there were no videos in that tab?

Either way, it’s not working.

Why is it like this?
Is anyone else having that problem?
