When I first saw these, I was reassured that there’s a glitch/hack going on with the messaging system. I cleared my cache, created a password, and did a lot of safety checks just in case, but I just got another DM of it.
It’s making me really uncomfortable, and i’m sure everyone else feels the same way.

Got one yesterday and yeah it's def a mass thing not just you, probably some phishing campaign that got through their security which honestly tracks for TikTok's infrastructure at this point.

i keep getting these and even when you block them you still get the notifs of them playing the emoji game whatever it is
I HAVE BEEN HAVING THE SAME ISSUE!! I just got on this app to inquire ab it too what the hell is going on. I once got hacked on a diff platform so I emmidietly panicked and did the same (set up password and logged out of every other device)
One thing I noticed is that one of the accounts that did this to me has a Russian flag in their highlights so I don't think it's a baseless conclusion to assume that it's mostly Russians behind it
