Wondering why my TikTok cannot do this?/my Gmail isn’t working?

I recently tried to apply for the Live incentive program and I needed to choose a card, but I had to get a verification code from my email, I checked it and nothing went through, I’m not sure if it’s the specific email account as I had issues about a year ago when I was trying to make a geometry dash account. But I was just wondering whether there’s any fixes
