Diamonds vs Gems on Tiktok live

So the tiktok live app shows I have 2400 gems available... but on the tiktok app balance it shows nothing. I asked grok how to find them and it says the balance where I just looked and that diamonds and gems are the same... does anyone know wtf these are and how to find them if they can be withdrawn?
