Misconceptions about going viral
Tiktokkers what were your misconceptions about going viral.
For me my biggest misconception was that once I reached over 100k followers I would get 1 million views on every video I uploaded after that.

I mean, social media has changed a lot. In early days of YouTube "Charlie bit my finger" went viral and he's set for life. He's literally wealthy. That's not the case with videos now, they locked all that down to keep money from people who go viral only one time. You can get a lot of subs from it but it's really not the same as it used to be. But that misconception still exists it seems that drives many to pump out tons of videos acting like they'll hit some lottery.
