They put highways right in the middle of Black neighborhoods in inner cities
Robert Moses built highways in NYC at heights too low for buses to go under because Black people took the bus, he displaced 500k people (especially Black people) to build highways in NYC
I hear you bro, but you’re literally calling for the Balkanization of the US. Kinda hard to get behind that.
I mean, he kinda has a point
I think Germany proved it's better to not split a country
MetLife stadium is in the middle of the meadowlands. It was built there because it had the space, where in NYC are you going to find the space to build a 80,000 person stadium!?
The practice of building highways to separate classes of people is true, I just don't think it is the reason MetLife was built in driving distance from NYC.
There's even a term for this phenomenon.

If you haven't read The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America definitely pick it up.
Highly illuminating and important history to know.
As a German, I am very confused
People who say “not everything is about race” are the same who avoid learning about history or watching “depressing” stuff.
The truth is most is about race especially to racists and turns out adults don’t want the truth, they want to feel correct no matter how wrong they are, and boy are they ready to die on that hill.
It’s like banging pots and pans together at this point lol
i belive the racism bit and how everything was built to keep black people out but to then put the blame on europeans is kinda crazy, yes they are descendants of europeans but what those white americans did is not europes fault directly. i bet that alot of those americans who planed that where descendants of other americans who had been there for a good century or so and didnt count as europeans anymore
