Tiktok notifications not working, is this to do with the social media ban in the uk?

It just shows the replies to my comments like 24 hours ago. This happened around 9pm last night so i thought it was the uk curfew but theyre still not working and ive tried everthing google has told me to do atp

Tiktok notifications are a bit buggy tbh. It'll say I have no notifications one minute, then I'll close the app, go back to it later and all of a sudden I have 47 (from before I opened it the first time). I'll also get new follower notifications from the day before when I've been on the app since they followed me. 🤷
