It feels like tiktok aggressively suppresses my videos, some perform well (2k+ views) some are 0-50 views. I see promote assistant ads everywhere - in the feed, in notifications, in my videos. Is it actually useful? And $17 per 3k views, that's more expensive that targeted tiktok ads, what the hell

a) When they 'shadowban' my accounts, no desire to support them.
b) Even before that - made no sense, because don't currently know how to make more $$ then I would spend on their platform. If I did know that - might be different. But right now - doesn't make sense. I had one vid do about 300k views before a random shadowban for no reason, and their ai 'support' totally sucks (esp. when they are trying to 'pretend' you are actually talking to a human)... but anyways - with that 300k - didn't "make" any $$$... so why would I pay $17 for 3k 'views' (kind of like $1700 for the 300k 'views' I got?)

Why would you pay Tiktok to do their job?
They get paid through advertising to deliver your content to people looking for it.
If Tiktok is failing at the basic premise of a video search engine then maybe it's time to find a platform that works for you.
