You're supposed to signal you have money to waste so you attract people that want to social climb or goldigg and it makes you quickly surrounded by generally attractive well kept people who kiss your ass. Is that not the point ? I mean it's stupid but that's the point. They're not actually worth 30k in terms of drink quality.
