How do I stop TikTok from turning up my volume?

Sometimes, when I wanna post a new video (not recording, just selecting one from my gallery and editing it), TikTok turns my volume way up? Not all the way but enough to scare the shit out of me…
I already turned off the auto volume adjustment but it still happens (I guess since that option is for watching videos and not posting them)

So what can I do to stop TikTok from doing that?
