(New to App) What is wrong with my TikTok?

I begrudgingly made a TikTok so that my friends could send me clips from the app, but I can't even find a friend tab. No search tab or anything. I compared how my app's appearance to a friend's, but he says he's never seen TikTok like that before. The leading theory is my account has been flagged as a minor's, but that wouldn't make sense as I made sure to put my actual birthday in, and I am a working adult. I downloaded the app on Google Playstore, with 66 million downloads, so it should be the right app.

Do I just ask customer support or am I doing something wrong here?
