Obviously a highly productive use of police time! (For private interests)
If the place were nearing capacity or like unsafe from crowds, yeah I can understand doing that. But that place looks huge and empty. Feels like the wrong time to enforce a rule to me
Do the cops have tickets?
I remember other cities were doing the same thing at bus stations too because of the homeless causing some problems for people waiting for their buses.
costs of mere existence are overwhelming when you are poor
It's the main reason why in Grand Central Station all the benches and seating in the food court were removed. Only a few food stalls have seating, but they are fenced off and the only access is after paying for your food. Plenty people do come for shelter from the weather, but with no seats, and patrols that arrive if you sit on the floors, you won't stay long - and that's the point
Sick country...very sick
The place is empty, lol. Zero percent grace.
Cruelty is the point
