I hope people aren't thinking I drink whiskey neat to be pretentious...

People who get caught up in the snobbery are silly. Drink what you like, how you like. If you can't control yourself, don't drink. But it shouldn't matter to anyone how you like to consume any food or drink. I will say, it's hard for me not to judge people who like well done steak, but still, it doesn't affect me so why would I actually, truly care?
