Class action lawsuit?

Like this is unethical what they do. Come up with some random AI generated reason to ban your account, have terrible support that just sends the same canned message over and over, and then say they are not going to pay you for commissions you rightfully made? Even Amazon pays you out if they find out you violated some other rules as an affiliate. And I kno there has to be an enough tiktok shop affiliates that this has happened to. Thoughts?

Yeah, from my understanding it's an evolving landscape for content creators to have more rights but right now it's a quite vulnerable position.

If you have a popular brand name you went by, it's good to have a website hub with all your socials on it so fans can easily Google you and see your new social account. But without a website you put yourself in a very weak position where one company can decide to make your entire brand disappear.

A website with your brand is authority. If you create a new social media account, that authority can be passed onto your new accounts and help you establish a strong start with a new social media account.

Agreed! Use TikTok as a short form video maker, but download the videos and post them to Instagram Reels, Snapchat Spotlight, YouTube Shorts, Skylight, Clapper, Red Note and literally everything that isn’t TikTok right now. They’ve fallen from grace so hard, there are other apps you can find success on in the big ol’ 2026
