Advice Wanted: Stagnating Numbers

About half a year ago I started a comedy-type account with some friends on Instagram and TikTok. We post new videos every three days. We've had some videos do really well and pull numbers way beyond our follower count, but as of late our videos have really stagnated and we can't figure out why. We've gone from consistently getting 1.6K+ views on Tiktok, with some reaching several hundred thousand or upwards of a million, to barely cracking 700. (and obviously we aren't expecting to become Mr. Beast overnight lol but we can't seem to figure out the inconsistency)

Is there any kind of rhyme or reason to this or did we just fall off lol? We just can't seem to tell why these videos aren't doing well, and Instagram seems to have more consistent view counts.

Also, I'd love to know how often you guys would recommend posting. We are debating shifting back to posting once every 4-5 days instead of 3 so we don't overwhelm people, but we don't have any kind of data to support that. Thanks!

I would diagnose before changing the posting schedule. Pull the last 20 posts and tag each one by topic, hook type, length, first three seconds, and payoff. Then run a two-week test where cadence stays the same and only the opening promise changes.

If retention improves but reach stays flat, distribution may be the issue. If retention stays weak, the creative probably needs a sharper premise. If one topic keeps producing comments or profile actions even with lower views, that may be the lane to build around.

Changing from every three days to every four or five might help, but I would only do it after you know frequency is actually the constraint.

I would not rush to change posting frequency just becasue views dropped. Sometimes platforms go through weird distribution phases especially on TikTok. I did look back at what the better performing videos had in common, pacing, watch time, format even the first few seconds. Posting slightly less can help if quality improves but I don’t think posting every 3 days alone is the reason numbers suddenly dropped.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month. Everything dying at 300 views for so long before I finally caught the problem

I've been absolutely obsessed with short form content for the last two years. Like people have staged actual interventions about my health level of obsessed. I'm talking 11-14 hour days breaking down what separates successful videos from failures, experimenting with different hook variations, rewriting scripts until my brain hurts, testing every editing approach I could possibly get my hands on.
