Now I Know Why They Call It TikTok... It's the Sound of the Clock While You Wait for Support

Hey y'all. I actually cannot believe how bad TikTok's support is. This company makes so much money, and they can't invest in actual human beings?

First, a small problem.

OVER A MONTH AGO, I had a video that didn't make it into the FYP because of "Unoriginal Content/Low Quality." This video took me five days to make and was based on someone else's video, so I can understand why the AI didn't put it into the FYP. So I filed an appeal. It's been over a month, and I'm still waiting for the results of that appeal. How does something that small take that long?

Okay, so here's my main problem.

On the 22nd, I went from getting thousands of views a day (I've had many videos do well) to literally zero. I uploaded a video that contained footage from a TV show (the video was an interview, so I was just showing short clips from the show with no sound), and I think it may have triggered some kind of account-wide suppression.

Now, this sometimes happens, and usually if you stop posting for a few days, it goes back to normal.

Well, mine hasn't.

I haven't received a single like or view on any video since that day (12 days ago). Keep in mind, I was getting likes on my videos every minute. It didn't just affect my new uploads either. Every older video that had been consistently getting views completely flatlined on the same day. Anytime I try to upload a video now, it doesn't even get a test. It just gets stuck at zero.

So I contacted support because this is a huge problem. They told me they see that my account has a like discrepancy and that they're going to review it.

Well, that was about a week ago.

Yesterday, I got so fed up with waiting that I sent them another message.

You know what they said?

"Can you describe the problem in detail?"

I HAVE DESCRIBED IT IN DETAIL.

I SENT THEM MY VIEWS GRAPH.

LITERALLY, IT'S ALL IN THE SAME SUPPORT MESSAGE.

I just can't believe how bad support actually is. I've been hearing that multiple people are experiencing this same account-wide suppression, so it's clearly a known problem. But they are so unprofessional and couldn't care less about getting back to you.

I’ve sent three chases for mine and they haven’t even responded, same with a new ticket I opened. Sorry about this. I’m not surprised, given the new owner takeover but this is crazy. It’s definitely a platform wide issue they refuse to actually action

glad i’m not the only one. June 13th my notifications completely stopped after getting one every 2 minutes. Went from 5000+ views per video to 20 if i’m lucky after a few days of posting. checked account no bans or restrictions.

I’m starting to think i need to start a new tiktok entirely because it’s not been fixed and i’ve been almost a month. i’m starting to lose my mind.
