Some common mistakes people make:

• Using poor hashtags, using "fyp" for example.
• Duplicating content across several platforms.
• Using a handle that belongs to an established brand.
• Using video clips you don't have the rights to use.
• Mass following people to get return followers.
• Asking people to follow for follow.
• Buying views from 3rd party services.

It goes on and on, lots of reasons why people end up in the 0 view hole but it's not permanent if you find out what you're doing wrong and correct it.
