Can I use a fake name in a TikTok copyright report?

Someone is downloading my YouTube videos and reuploading them on TikTok without my permission. I'm worried that if I use my real legal name, TikTok might share it with the person I'm reporting.

Can I use a fake name instead, or does it have to be my real name?

Like a lot of people, I don't want anyone to know my real name, you know?

Also, I don't think TikTok is going to ask to see my ID to verify if that's my real name.

For those of you who have already reported videos, what did you do?

Yes, you have to use your real name while also including your online handles because you’re filing a legal document to have it taken down. If you’re this worried about privacy just learn to live with people posting your content online. You cannot file any legal documents with any fake name.
