Random question but need answers

If you get rid of the dm chat as a whole not just a message and the user sends you a dm will the chat appear back? I'm wondering because I got rid someones dm a while ago but their profile keeps appearing first when I go to send a video to a friend, like they'll be second or third in line but the next day they're back to being the first option, are they sending me messages that makes them appear first but since it said "this cannot be undone" before I got rid of it, its not showing fot me? Im wondering if its just never gonna show back up or it's just tiktok being dumb idk
