Is anyone else completely sickened by the obvious institutional protection surrounding the death of Nolan Wells in Mississippi? 🏛️🤫

They literally can’t make an arrest until they think they have enough evidence to win a trial…

So unless you are privy to some evidence that I haven’t seen, there doesn’t sound like there is a lot to go to trial with right now

I've had friends stay at parties when their rides left, not uncommon.

It’s like the conspiracy is always straight out of a recent movie. This sounds like they just watched One Battle After Another and ran with it.

I remember during Rona they thought the jab would activate via 5g signal like it was the Kingsmen.

I can see these people covering up an accident or a fight that went too far. I highly doubt it was some klan konspiracy.

Wealthy powerful people aren’t clamoring to join the klan either. They want more money and power and the klan really has none of that to offer. The klan would be begging these people to join not making them do initiation bs.

For people that have followed this story. I lived around Biloxi and had friends from Ocean Springs. Here's my own opinion:

I think people should wait to jump to conclusions on this one, to be honest. I'm not saying something bad couldn't have gone down. But there's just too much that isn't known about it.

This is Mississippi, yes. But it's the Gulf Coast. That area isn't necessarily the Mississippi you have in your head. It's more akin to Florida. Ocean Springs in particular stands out. It's usually in the "top places to move to in the South" lists. It's not really the kind of small town you're probably imagining. A lot of different kinds of people live there. It's right outside of Biloxi, which definitely isn't a small town. Ocean Springs is basically a suburb of it.

There's racism in the area to an extent for sure, but I've never heard of any Klan activity. And the Klan generally doesn't do things like this because they don't want to catch heat. They don't really operate like that.

But again. Maybe something crazy did happen. But I think people are prematurely thinking that this is some sundown town where the judge, coroner, and everyone else are in on it. The judge and the lawyer might not even know each other.

And it's also important to say that people went to the barrier islands all the time to get drunk. A lot of people have boats and it was the 4th of July. That's also not unusual. On top of that, the sports teams didn't really run in a segregated kind of way. It's not Remember the Titans or something.

Another thing is that a lot of kids die around this area. A staggering amount that would baffle people. But that's not to say he wasn't killed.

But yeah, some people are racist down there. Who knows. This could also be that he accidentally got hurt or they drunkenly left without him, or who knows. But hopefully we get answers.

TL;DR - I think people should wait until more news comes out. This isn't really a small town sundown kind of area where everyone knows each other and are protecting each other

I’m sickened by people jumping to conclusions and pointing fingers at his friends, turning it into a race debate, while the investigation is still going on.

Conspiracy garbage. The most likely answer is a drunken accident of some kind.

My wife's nurse practitioner is Nolan's mom. She's such a sweet and wonderful lady. We are so sad about her loss :(

Shonquella Robinson’s case didn’t even end up with any of her friends charged.. and her case had other evidence due to a fight recorded days earlier.
