To my fellow hotel front desk workers, we can definitely relate to this 🤣

Whoever came up with this script needs to find a new job. That was terrible.

This is terrible, I get people can be like this but just because you add swearing to it, it doesn’t make it funny.

This is funny. I’m guilty of trying to check in early every time but I’m usually nice about it. Unfortunately I don’t get to choose when my flights arrive internationally and am not sure what to do with my family and luggage at 5am lol

People do the “hi, is this the lobby” thing because some hotels have a bunch of counters, like there’s check-in and guest services and the business center and whatever else. And nothing is worse than going through your whole spiel and the clerk says “um, actually check-in is over there” like you’re an idiot.

I agree it’s kind of dumb if the lobby is literally one person at a desk.

This seems fake.

To be fair, I’ve made hotel reservations and haven’t been able to check into the room until at least 3 AM and then check out at 11 AM

I feel like this type of client interaction video could be made at almost any customer service job these days.

In my head I am screaming "you're failure to plan does NOT constitute an emergency on my part" as I say "let me look into that possibility" ...um, no.
